Marvin Ridge Rugby Club
COMMITMENT:
MRRC is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization which provides opportunities for Middle and High Schoolers to learn about the dynamic game of rugby (currently the fastest growing youth sport in the USA). With the USA hosting the 2031 World Cup, our aim is to foster excellence and team spirit among our players, and hopefully help produce a few 2031 USA Eagles!
CONNECTION:
We work hard to help every player fulfill their potential and find their own niche in our rugby family. The older players encourage and mentor the younger ones, and this extends beyond the rugby field into the school hallways and cafeterias and rides to practice. Our athletes also give back to the community through roadside cleanups and charity drives.
COMPETITIVENESS:
Our Middle School JV and Varsity teams are back-to-back Champions and in its inaugural season, our High School team also brought home the NC Schools State Championship! For a fledgling program we are so proud of the achievement of everyone involved. The MRRC family is now a thriving organization and we hope to leave a legacy that can be enjoyed for years to come.
